Film Cameras, Tested by the Lab That Develops Your Film
Every camera we sell has been through our own lab. Second-hand point and shoots are tested and film-checked by our technicians, new cameras come straight from the maker, and all of them carry a 30-day warranty. Pick one up in store or have it shipped Australia-wide.

What "Tested" Actually Means
Plenty of places sell old cameras "as is". We are a film lab, so we can do better than that. Before a second-hand camera goes on the shelf, one of our technicians puts it through the same checks we would want on our own gear, then runs a roll of film through it and develops it here.
- Shutter and exposure firing correctly across the range
- Autofocus and lens clear of haze, fungus and scratches
- Flash charging and firing
- Film transport loading, advancing and rewinding cleanly
- Battery contacts and light seals clean and doing their job
- Test roll shot, developed and inspected by us
30-day warranty. If anything is not right in the first 30 days, bring it back to either store and we will sort it out.

Do second-hand cameras come with a battery?
No, but we stock every battery these cameras take (CR123A, CR2, AA, LR44) and will fit one at the counter so you leave with a working camera.
What does the 30-day warranty cover?
Any fault with the camera itself in the first 30 days from purchase. Bring it back to either store with your receipt and we will repair, replace or refund. It does not cover drops, water damage or a roll loaded backwards.
Can you show me how to load film?
Yes. Every camera sale in store comes with a quick run-through of loading, rewinding and the flash. Online buyers can book a call or ask us on chat.
Do you ship cameras?
Australia-wide, packed with the original studio photos so you know exactly what you are getting. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 1pm on a business day.
Why is a second-hand point and shoot more than a new reusable camera?
Glass and electronics. A 1990s Pentax or Olympus has a multi-element zoom lens, real autofocus and a metering system. New plastic reusables are great fun and a great start, but they are fixed-focus with a single-element lens.
Which film should I start with?
For a point and shoot, a 400 speed colour negative film like Kodak Ultramax or Gold covers daylight and flash without fuss. We stock it, and we develop and scan it, so you can grab a roll at the counter and bring it straight back when it is done.
